Pastor Mikel Moore & wife Michelle.
Pastor Mikel Moore has been serving the Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist for over 31 years. Currently, he pastors the Bethany and Calvary SDA Churches in Charlottesville, Virginia and Gordonsville, Virginia.
He and his wife Michelle have been married for over 36 years. They have one daughter, 5 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He received his BA in Theology from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Pastor Moore earned his Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
He is the author of the Look, Love, & Live Bible Lessons (2004) and authored the book Lessons on Character published by TEACH Services, Inc. (2008).
His hobbies include karate, sightseeing, and traveling, and developing Bible lessons.
Philosophy
By faith in the revelation of the Bible and the gift of Prophecy, Christ is the foundation, the personification, and embodiment of the truths that we are to believe, live, preach, and teach, as the truth is in Jesus. The Cross of Christ is to be our message, our doctrine, our argument, our warning, our encouragement, and our hope to the world!
